Plantation activities under “Plant4Mother” & Har Ghar Tiranga campaign

Dear Learner,

In connection with World Environment Day, Hon’ble Prime Minister launched Global Campaign “Plant4Mother”. The Hon’ble Prime Minister exhorted people to plant trees as mark of love and respect for one’s own Mother, and for protecting and preserving Mother Earth. As part of the “Plant4Mother” campaign, efforts are being made to ensure that about 80 crore saplings are planted across the country by September, 2024 and about 140 crore sapling by March, 2025.

In view of the above, you are requested to Plant a sapling and send a photo/selfie with planted sapling to the Regional Centre, Trivandrum email address,i.e., rctrivandrum@ignou.ac.in .

On the occasion of Har Ghar Tiranga, it is also requested to send a photo/selfie in the background of the National Flag to the Regional Centre, Trivandrum email address mentioned above.

Both the selfies/photos may be transmitted by 14^th August, 2024.
